Theatre

Took Hubby out for dinner and the local theatre to see their first performance for this season and also the first since Covid started two years ago.  The play "Grand Ghosts", was a true story, about a man who actually owned the theatre in the early 1900's, he was a character of questionable activities, which included women, betting and booze.   He decided to sell this theatre for $1.7 million dollars and go away with his mistress and not leave his wife or his employees any money at all.  A day after the sale he mysteriously disappeared, no body was ever found and no one was ever accused of having anything to do with his disappearance.   Over the years mysterious happenings have been experienced in the theatre.........   his ghost..............some think so.    It was a good play and we enjoyed it. It is his b-day tomorrow thus the treat yesterday, as we both have eye appointments in a city about an hour and a half drive away, so it will be an all day event, as we usually visit his sister while we are in the area, no time for celebrating that day.

Rain, rain and more rain, it is cold only 3*C when we got up and some of the rain looked very heavy and white mixed in with regular rain.    November weather for sure, however, only today and tomorrow to get through and then we have some lovely sunny days.  Cannot wait as I have some more things that need to be done in the garden before Winter sets in and Hubby has leaves to pick up.  Thank job never seems to end at this time of the year as we get leaves from all the neighbors across the street.

Not much else happening today, I do need to take by library books back, hopefully that will happen this afternoon.

Dinner tonight will be chicken, asparagus, not sure what else.

Have a great day,

Cheers.
