No where at all really, just busy with this that and other things.
Starting with October.
It was time to change the clothes, Summer things are now in my spare/sewing room closet and Winter clothes are in my bedroom closet. After doing that at the beginning of the month, we now have had a couple weeks of lovely weather, so had to get some summery things out for a few days. Not complaining about that as I am not looking forward to the cold days we will eventually get.
The weather is perfect for walking, so I have done a lot of that. The autumn colours have also been beautiful so another incentive to get out and enjoy these days. It has also been nice to sit on the balcony with my hand sewing during the afternoons too. Taking advantage of every day, as the balcony furniture will soon be put in storage for the winter months.
It's been a foody month, great grand daughter birthday dinner, Thanksgiving dinner, eldest daughter birthday dinner and this past weekend I was at a reunion, which included too much food. Tomorrow is a Halloween party in the complex, on Saturday is the first of the theatre shows I see, which will include a dinner afterwards with friends. The flowing weekend is a potluck dinner.
On an unhappier note, I lost a dear quilting friend this past week. She is now at peace with no pain, which I am thankful for.
My ex is having some medical issues, which are changing his way of life right now. Many Dr. appointments, and other things.
My search for a new Dr. in the city where I now live has been successful. There will be no more travelling for an hour or more to another city. I consider myself very fortunate as Drs. are few and far between and accepting new patients right now is difficult for many people. Next month I have a dentist appointment which will be cancelled as I also have a new dentist here too.
I mentioned above a Halloween party tomorrow, Yes, I will be dressing up and hoping to get a photo of me all dressed up in my costume.
