The weather we had during the month of October was absolutely amazing. November 1st is looking nice and sunny also. However, we can expect a change is coming soon, with some cloudy skies and some rain. It was bound to happen, wasn't it.
On Friday, out apartment complex had our end of month potluck dinner, all the food very tasty and I took more dessert items than I should, so will need to do some additional walking this coming week.
As Halloween only comes once a year, I decided to dress up again in my costume, only a few other people decided to get into a costume. All of the items for the outfit will be given back to my DD1 and the black dress hung in my closet.
Some much needed shopping was done yesterday, a new mattress cover, vitamins and a visit to Bath and Body meant several bags of things came home with me.
The mall was soooo busy as most of the stores were giving out treats to all the children who were dressed up for Halloween. Such a great idea for families with young children, no worries about weather and busy streets. Mums and Dads were also dressed up, so it was nice to see families out together like that.
In the mall there is a new Ikea store, had a walk through, however was not impressed. Looking at labels I saw nothing made in Sweden. The metal and wood on the items I looked at appeared to be very thin, so not too sturdy for the wear and tare they would get. Came out empty handed.
The sitting outside on the balcony is coming to an end, so sometime this coming week the furniture needs to be put into my locker downstairs, and one of the plants brought in for the winter. Will then give the patio door glass one more clean, until spring, or if we are lucky to get a decent day before then give them a quick going over.
As the day is looking very nice, but a bit cooler a walk in a local park is going to be done this afternoon, so I had better get a move on.
