During the past week we have been having some milder temperatures and rain. Getting rid of some of the snow finally, thank goodness.
Last evening around 8:00 p.m. I though I saw lightening outside my window, no, it can't be, we normally only get that it the summer time.
Another flash and thunder, then rain, hail and freezing rain. It lasted quite awhile before everything calmed down.
So what did we have, Thundersnow storm.
Quite spectacular, and unusual to have this. I have only seen it once before.
This morning, slick roads which have put a damper on my drive today.
Have a great day,
Cheers.
Wow, what weather indeed, conditions to stay in the warm.
ReplyDeleteNo thunder here, just a big dump of snow but, as you say, starting to melt already. I will be glad to see the last of this year's winter!
ReplyDeleteThat's very interesting. I'm in California (US) and it's been a much rainier winter here than we usually have. I've really enjoyed it. I haven't minded being inside, I have new kitchen cabinets that make it enjoyable to be inside with. Thanks for sharing your story. That thundersnow storm sounds brilliant!
